So I joined the Probending RP on tegaki ahha

never quit tegaki. never.
I don’t think I can ever quit, fully. hnnggg.. It’s so awkward to draw on. Especially comments.. I was never good at those DX .. And still I’m drawn toward it when a  good group surfaces, despite not being active there for like a million years..

Everybody’s favourite germaphobic plague doctor! So! In 2008 groups on TE started to really get going. I’d seen the intro posts for a new Steampunk/Western called Flintridge and was well.. daunted. I watched the group for a while and when apps opened up for the 2nd time I had no idea who to app. So.. Dr D Tane was born. If people know me from Tegaki, it’s probably because of Doc. I met most of my friends through the group and yeah! It was a fun time c: As for the picture it’s self, I still quite like it! There are problems with it such as GREY AND RED killing me when I look at it again and his bird head was more heavily reffed from a Bird skull when I drew it originally, while nowadays it’s just a more caricatured version. But yeah overall a fun redraw C:

Having seen Days putting up her old Tegaki apps.. I thought I’d do mine too!But when I looked back they were pretty much all embarrassingly awful so I thought hey! why not redraw them a bit. I limited myself to the same colours used from tegaki, but redrew them in Sai :3SO. First up from way back in March 2008, Oak. He’s part man, part bear. Mostly bear, really. He was a character I had previous to joining tegaki e, and I sort of shoved him into Tegaki Mafia because it was back when groups were first starting and I really wanted to make friends… but, by the time I joined, it was pretty much over…. so that didn’t work out! Still, I kinda do like the old picture and.. UGH I haven’t really improved all that much .. not as much as I would have liked -m- aah four years to get to this? hnnghngg I will blame the shittyness of the new drawing on not having drawn Oak in a long while /excuses
