Scholars and Spellcasters

Characters from a dream I had about a year ago-I had an insane urge to draw them again. Everything about them is how it was in the dream, and they had pretty distinct personalities and powers and the world was quite well formed as well- way to go subconscious brain!
RAMBLE TIME!!!
(in which I talk about stuff from this dream TL;DR magical people have brightly coloured skin / it’s a comic I will never make)
So the world they lived in was a sort of Egyptian/Arabian style place, bazaars and dust and sand and camels everywhere. And it is also a world of magic and excitement!!!11!!
Not everyone in the world has magic capabilities. Those who do are obvious, in as much that their skin is affected by their magical affinity, so for example, someone who is attuned to fire-magic would have a red tone to their skin, nature-magic would be green etc etc.
Magic users are not too uncommon, but powerful ones are, and those with more than one affinity are even more so.
The magical people within the world are normally accompanied by a scholar who is learned in spells, but has no magical power of their own. The scholar basically follows them around and writes about the spells that are cast, so that they can be compiled for some grand library of magic.
SO
The two people pictured up there are a Scholar and a Spellcaster. However, the spellcaster has a few issues. He is extremely powerful, with multiple affinities- but can’t cast a single spell.
His scholar is exceptionally intelligent, and through a shit ton of reading, she has figured out a way to use his magic for him.
I would make it into a comic but I am forever too busy and too lazy when I am not busy.
